JEDWARD'S backing singer Morgan Deane is due to marry her Graeme Smith on Saturday August 06 2011-- just six months after first meeting him.
And the Herald can reveal how a veil of secrecy surrounded the nuptials between the gorgeous Cork crooner and the South African cricket captain.
Both have declined interviews about their big day, saying they were determined to keep the occasion private.
"Smith and his fiancee wanted to have a very intimate wedding attended by only close friends and family," said his personal assistant Fiona de Sousa.
Their wedding venue is the upmarket Suikerboissie, which is situated in a suburb of Cape Town, and the smitten pair have been having plenty of pre-wedding parties over the past week.
The couple opted to have a black-tie cocktail event for their guests, which include Morgan's family and friends who have flown over from Ireland to attend.
The singer, who was backing vocalist during Jedward's Eurovision bid, asked her younger sister Sharon (20) to be her bridesmaid.
Morgan (26) and Graeme (30) began their whirlwind romance last February, with the brunette beauty flying out to India to support his side in the Cricket World Cup.
He returned the favour, visiting Ireland in early April, where he asked her father for her hand in marriage, before popping the question during a holiday in Cork.
The player, who once dated Prince Harry's ex Chelsea Davy, caused controversy when he decided to fly from India to Ireland instead of coming home to South Africa to face the media, given the team's dismal performance at the event.
When Graeme first popped the question, a delighted Morgan stated: "I've just gotten engaged to the most incredible man I've ever met. Graeme I love you.. I'm the luckiest girl in the world."
