40 Stunning Examples Of Volcano Photography By Martin Rietze

Among the most influential and unhelpful natural disasters, volcanic eruptions are disastrous. They can build and obliterate mountains. They can clean out many villages and towns in a matter of moments. They can even cause worldwide changes in the Earth’s climate. A volcano is an opening in a planet’s surface which allows hot molten rock, volcanic residue and gases to flee from beneath the surface. Volcanoes are usually found where tectonic plates are diverging. A mid-oceanic ridge, for case the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, has examples of volcanoes caused by different tectonic plates pulling apart; the Pacific Ring of Fire has examples of volcanoes caused by convergent tectonic plates coming together. The purpose of the model volcano eruption is to teach the concept of chemical reactions by showing what happens when vinegar and baking soda are combined. Here are 40 Stunning Examples of Volcano Photography by Martin Rietze.
